National Dialogue Summit 2026
Sept. 10, 2026
As part of the National Dialogue Summit on Suicide Prevention 2026, the first panel discussion brought together thoughtful voices from different professional and community perspectives for an open, meaningful, and constructive exchange on suicide prevention and mental health.
The session provided an important platform for dialogue, reflection, and shared learning. Through diverse perspectives and experiences, the discussion explored the importance of understanding suicide prevention beyond a single approach and highlighted the need for stronger awareness, compassionate support, meaningful conversations, and collective action.
The panel created space for participants to listen, reflect, ask questions, share perspectives, and engage in conversations that matter. It encouraged deeper reflection on how individuals, professionals, communities, and institutions can contribute to creating environments where people feel heard, understood, supported, and connected to appropriate help when needed.
The exchange also emphasized the value of bringing different voices together. Meaningful dialogue can help us better understand the social, psychological, and community dimensions surrounding mental health and suicide prevention, while encouraging greater collaboration and shared responsibility.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our panelists for generously sharing their knowledge, experiences, insights, and perspectives. Your contributions added depth and meaning to the discussion and helped create a thoughtful space for learning and reflection.
We are equally grateful to all the participants who joined the session and actively contributed through their presence, questions, reflections, and engagement. Your willingness to listen, learn, and participate is an important part of creating more informed and supportive conversations around mental health and suicide prevention.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to Grande International Hospital for its valuable support and partnership in making this important gathering possible.
We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to our Mental Health Supporting Sponsor, Aanandit Hridaya; Media Supporting Sponsor, Halkara Khabar; and Community Supporting Partners, Bright Minds, Nura, Medhavi, and Street to Home for standing alongside us in this initiative. Their support helped create a platform where meaningful dialogue could take place and where collective efforts toward mental well-being and suicide prevention could be strengthened.
The first panel discussion was an important part of the summit’s broader effort to change the narrative, start conversations, and create hope through action.
Because meaningful change begins when we create spaces where people can talk openly, listen with empathy, understand different perspectives, and work together toward stronger support systems.
The conversation has begun. Let us continue it—with understanding, compassion, and action.
