Psychological & Clinical Analysis of Dreams (PCAD)

July 25, 2026

The National Solution and Research Centre (NSRC) successfully conducted its First ever Psychological & Clinical Analysis of Dreams (PCAD) workshop, bringing together 15 participants for an immersive exploration of one of psychology's most fascinating subjects dreams. The workshop examined dreaming through an interdisciplinary lens, combining insights from neuroscience, Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory, and Carl Jung's analytical psychology.

Participants explored the neurobiology of sleep, REM dreaming, and the role of dreams in memory consolidation, emotional regulation, and cognitive processing. The session also introduced classical and contemporary theories of dream interpretation, encouraging participants to critically examine how dreams can reflect unconscious processes, emotions, and personal experiences. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, the workshop bridged scientific evidence with psychological perspectives, creating a balanced understanding of the dreaming mind.

Facilitated by Alisha Adhikari, the workshop provided a collaborative learning environment where participants actively engaged in thoughtful discussions, shared perspectives, and reflected on the significance of dreams in both everyday life and clinical practice. Her ability to connect complex scientific concepts with psychological theory made the session both accessible and intellectually stimulating.

NSRC extends its sincere appreciation to all 15 participants for their enthusiasm, curiosity, and active participation, which contributed to a meaningful learning experience and enriched discussions throughout the workshop.
