3-Day Caregiving Training Program at Unnati Foundation
July 8, 2026
We are delighted to share the successful completion of our 3-Day Caregiving Training Program, conducted by the National Solution and Research Centre (NSRC) in collaboration with Unnati Foundation on 24th, 25th, and 26th Ashar. Over these three days, the program brought together dedicated caregivers in an engaging and supportive learning environment where participants exchanged experiences, reflected on their roles, and strengthened the knowledge and skills needed to provide compassionate, child-centered care.
The training began by focusing on the foundations of effective caregiving. Participants explored the importance of effective communication, non-violent communication, active listening, empathetic communication, and building healthy relationships between caregivers and children. Through interactive discussions and practical activities, they gained valuable insights into creating trust, understanding children's emotional needs, and communicating with empathy and respect.
As the program progressed, the emphasis shifted toward building positive and collaborative caregiving environments. Sessions on conflict resolution, problem-solving, team building, collaborative work culture, and leadership skills encouraged participants to strengthen their ability to work together, support one another, and take positive responsibility within their caregiving settings. The exchange of ideas and real-life experiences made the learning even more meaningful and practical.
The final day focused on emotional wellbeing and relationship enhancement. Participants explored emotional awareness, emotional regulation, gratitude practice, positive psychology, and ways to foster healthy relationships among caregivers as well as between caregivers and children. These sessions highlighted the importance of caring for one's own emotional wellbeing while creating safe, nurturing, and supportive spaces where children can grow with confidence and security.
This training was facilitated by Ms. Deena Magar, Mental Health Case Worker and Psychosocial Trainer, Ms. Sujala Sitoula Psychiatric Nurse along with the dedicated NSRC team, whose expertise and interactive facilitation enriched every session. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Unnati Foundation for their invaluable collaboration, trust, and unwavering support throughout this initiative. We are equally grateful to every participant for their enthusiasm, active engagement, and commitment to learning. Together, we continue to strengthen caregivers, empower communities, and create brighter, healthier futures for children. 💙
