8th Mental Health Program: Ama Foundation Godawari
Sept. 24, 2025
NSRC successfully conducted its 8th Mental Health Program under the 100 Initiative at Ama
Foundation, Godawari on 8th of Ashoj 2082, where 18 children actively participated in a warm
and engaging learning session focused on emotional awareness, self-care, and coping skills. The
session aimed to help children better understand their inner feelings and develop healthy ways to
respond to different emotional situations in their daily lives.
Throughout the program, children were introduced to simple yet effective interactive activities
such as journaling their thoughts, practicing deep breathing exercises, and using emotion charts
to identify and express what they feel. These activities created a safe and friendly space where
they could openly share, reflect, and learn that all emotions are valid and manageable when
understood properly.
This initiative continues to support the mental and emotional wellbeing of young minds by
building resilience, confidence, and emotional intelligence from an early age. We are grateful for
the collaboration with Bright Mind Education Hub, Street to HOME, and Easy Learning, whose
continuous support helps us create meaningful impact in the lives of children and move together
toward a healthier and more compassionate Nepal.
