Held at the NSRC, the program gathered 31 participants and featured a distinguished panel of influential women leaders across various fields. The event was structured into two significant segments: an introductory session where the speakers shared their personal journeys, challenges, and triumphs, and an interactive Q&A session where participants engaged directly with the experts on pressing women's issues.

The program aimed to achieve several key objectives: to stimulate a comprehensive discussion on women's challenges, to foster meaningful connections between participants and speakers, to encourage active youth involvement in addressing women's issues, to pinpoint critical areas requiring attention, and to lay the groundwork for future support systems and interventions. The distinguished speakers included:

Sukrita Rai Basnet, President of the Social Workers Association Nepal and Head of the BSW
Department at Padmakanya Multiple Campus, who provided insights from her extensive experience in
social work and education.

-Basanta Ghimire, Senior Sub Inspector, who shared his perspectives on legal and safety issues
affecting women.

-Meena Thapa, President of Mother Sister Nepal, who discussed advocacy and support strategies for
women's empowerment.

women's rights.

perspectives on media’s role in shaping narratives around women’s issues.

-Rashmi Paudel, Social Worker and Lecturer, who shared her expertise in mental health and community
support for women.

The program proved to be an eye-opening and impactful experience, marked by profound discussions and dynamic interactions. The speakers' compelling narratives highlighted the systemic obstacles faced by women and provided practical advice and solutions for overcoming these challenges. Participants actively engaged in the dialogue, asking critical questions and contributing their own experiences, which enriched the overall discussion.

The event emphasized the importance of solidarity, mentorship, and collective action in addressing women’s issues. It underscored the urgent need for continued advocacy and the development of inclusive support systems. By fostering a collaborative environment, the program aimed to create actionable strategies for improving women's lives and promoting gender equity. The discussions and insights gained are expected to drive future initiatives, contributing to meaningful progress in women's rights and empowerment across various sectors.
