The Stress Management Workshop, conducted by the National Solution and Research Centre on Poush 6, 2081, at Tarakunj Secondary School in Pokhara, aimed to help Grade 8, 9, and 10 students manage the pressures of school, social life, and personal challenges. With the increasing academic and emotional pressures on students at this stage, the workshop focused on providing practical tools to build resilience, manage stress, and prioritize mental well-being.

Key Highlights of the Workshop:

Identifying Sources of Stress: Students learned to recognize common stressors in their lives, including academic pressure, peer relationships, and family expectations.

Effective Coping Strategies: Practical techniques were shared, such as time management, relaxation exercises, and mindfulness practices, to help students cope with stress effectively.

Building Emotional Resilience: The workshop emphasized the development of healthy coping mechanisms to deal with setbacks, challenges, and pressure, encouraging a positive outlook.

Promoting Healthy Habits: Importance of sleep, physical activity, and nutrition in maintaining mental and physical health was highlighted to help students take care of their overall well-being.

Creating a Supportive Environment: Students were encouraged to seek help from trusted adults and peers, promoting a culture of support within the school community.

Through this session, the National Solution and Research Centre aimed to empower students to prioritize their mental health and navigate the challenges of adolescence with greater confidence and emotional strength.
