Suicide Prevention Workshop : Lakecity College & Research Centre

A suicide prevention workshop was held for BASW and BBS students at Lake City College and Research Centre to address the urgent need for awareness around mental health challenges, particularly suicide prevention. The session emphasized recognizing the warning signs of suicidal thoughts, understanding the underlying mental health issues, and equipping students with practical strategies to intervene and support individuals in crisis. This workshop aimed to break the stigma surrounding mental health and foster an environment where students feel empowered to seek help for themselves and others.
