Certified Psychological First Aid(PFA) Workshop
Sept. 27, 2026
It began with learning how to be there when someone needs support.
On 27 September 2026, the National Solution & Research Centre (NSRC) successfully conducted its Certified Psychological First Aid (PFA) Workshop, bringing participants together to develop practical skills for responding to people experiencing emotional or psychological distress.
Throughout the session, participants explored how to recognize signs of distress, listen with empathy, respond calmly during difficult situations, provide immediate psychological support, and connect individuals with appropriate resources through safe referrals.
Beyond the learning, the workshop created a space for meaningful conversations, reflection, and shared experiences helping participants build greater confidence in responding to situations where psychological first aid may be needed.
The program successfully concluded with new knowledge, practical skills, and a shared understanding that sometimes, being present, listening, and responding with care can be the first step toward support.
A heartfelt thank you to all the participants for your active participation, openness, and commitment throughout the workshop. Your engagement made the learning experience meaningful and strengthened our collective effort toward building more supportive and mentally healthy communities.
